For normal users
Account access, joining communities, taking courses, posting, events, messages, and payments.
Account and access
How do I join a community?
Create an account, open the community invite or discovery page, then follow the access steps set by the community owner.
Can I belong to more than one community?
Yes. Communo is built for multi-community membership, so one account can switch between separate communities.
What if I forgot my password?
Use the password reset page. Email/password auth and password reset are part of the planned Supabase-backed account flow.
Can I use Google sign-in?
Yes. Google OAuth is part of the planned authentication setup for faster account access.
Courses and progress
Where do I find lessons?
Courses are organized into modules and lessons inside each community that has published learning content.
How is progress tracked?
Lesson progress is stored per member so you can continue from where you left off.
Why is a lesson locked?
Some communities may use drip schedules, paid access, task unlocks, or points-based unlocks.
Can I buy an individual course?
The roadmap includes individual course sales through Stripe where a creator enables that option.
Feed, events, and messages
How do discussions work?
Community feeds support posts, comments, reactions, polls, mentions, bookmarks, scheduling, and search as the product matures.
Can I RSVP to events?
Yes. Calendar events are planned with RSVP, recurring schedules, paid tickets, and calendar sync.
Will I get notifications?
Communo includes in-app notifications, email notifications, and member notification preferences.
Can members send direct messages?
Direct messaging is planned as a real-time inbox with threaded conversations and attachments.
Payments and membership
Who handles payments?
Stripe is planned for subscriptions, trials, one-time purchases, tickets, discounts, and platform revenue share.
Why did my access change?
Paid access can change when a subscription starts, cancels, fails, or is restored through Stripe webhook sync.
Can communities be free?
Yes. Communo supports both free and paid communities.
Where do refunds happen?
Refund handling is expected to follow the community owner's policies and Stripe payment records.

Setup, courses, moderation, Stripe payments, CRM, email, SMS, AI, API, webhooks, and analytics.
Community setup
What can I customize?
Owners can configure names, descriptions, cover images, logos, public landing pages, custom domains, SEO, pixels, and settings.
How does multi-tenancy work?
Each community is isolated with its own members, content, settings, roles, and access rules.
Can I create paid and free groups?
Yes. The product model supports free communities, paid memberships, individual courses, and event tickets.
Can I import members?
CSV export is planned first; import workflows can be added around the member and CRM data model later.
Content, courses, and events
How do I build a course?
Courses are planned around modules, lessons, drag-and-drop ordering, video lessons, text lessons, file lessons, and progress tracking.
Where is video hosted?
Native video hosting is planned through Bunny.net so creators do not need YouTube or external video tools.
Can I schedule events?
Yes. Events include RSVP, recurring schedules, optional paid tickets, and Google/Apple calendar sync.
Can I moderate discussions?
Admin moderation includes pinning, deleting, muting, banning, topic tags, and feed search.
CRM, broadcasts, and automation
How do tags work?
Owners and admins can tag members manually or through automation rules as part of the built-in CRM.
What can automation trigger?
Rules can react to member events and trigger DMs, emails, SMS, tags, webhooks, and logs.
Can I send email broadcasts?
Yes. Resend is planned for transactional emails, notifications, templates, and filtered email broadcasts.
Can I send SMS?
Twilio is planned for SMS broadcasts and automation-triggered text messages.
Revenue, API, and analytics
What analytics will I get?
Creator analytics include revenue, member growth, engagement, course completions, affiliate performance, and exports.
Will there be an API?
Yes. Communo is API-first with a versioned REST API, API keys, rate limiting, webhooks, and future mobile support.
Can I use AI tools?
Owners can connect Claude, OpenAI, or a compatible provider for writing assistance and engagement features.
How does the affiliate program work?
Owners can set commissions while members get referral links and track clicks, conversions, and earnings.
